Ryan looks for subjects that seem misunderstood or underrated, choosing to tell the stories of people that surround us every day. A young girl in the town of Harar is demonstrating her self defence skills in the middle of the town square. This mixed group involving young boys and girls show the residents the importance of self-defence and discipline.
